Following the game, a scrimmage was held.
Team A:
Merloch
BoC *mayor
BallsOutTeam B:
Anox *mayor
Method
zhantrimThe scrimmage was incredibly intense and lasted for well over an hour. Both teams displayed good BCL Season 4 tactics and the battle raged back and forth. Turret rushing, laming, bombing, suiciding, and mining were in full effect. I only hope we can see some more games like this in the regular matches once people polish their strategies.

The game began by a hard turretrush from Rise until some creamy dude blew turretfacts and ended their advance.
Rise was suddenly left with no cash and a horribly unprotected CC and was orbed after 3 minutes with only 3 buildings standing.

CWN MVP: Nightwish
TC MVP: –
CWN (Barentsburg)
TC (Tallinn)
Both teams opted for building a base rather than trying to turret rush or some other tactic. BoC was the first attacker, taking his laser to CWN and causing some trouble and stress for a while until turrets were finally able to clear him.
CWN attacked second, and were able to cause some trouble with their lasers, killing Makaveli with his own defense and slowing down TC's ability to build. Meanwhile, BoC was stuck on CC, so CWN was able to build up nicely without disturbance allowing for them to send 3 attackers.
TC made the same mistake CWN made their last game, they demo'ed their laser research which is a classic tactic to make room for more cash and researching other items. With the fast paced action, CWN found themselves bombed to the ground and unable to shoot bombs, just like TC in this game.

Iggy early showed his experience as mayor and had a nice little city up and rolling very fast as stig were tormenting Gangster trying to mess up his building. When Batcho finally arrived he tried similar activities at IGGY's base but were pretty unsuccessful.
As it was closing to look like a long game Ganster was first to build the orb giving Batcho a new edge in the battle. However he allso sealed off his own greenfactory with other buildings giving Stig a nice time attacking.
Stig suicided in to bomb the greens while Ganster was preoccupied rebuilding the wreckage in other parts off his city and greens fell merely seconds before Stig was back with the ball.

JetLi – Commando
Knowing they were down a man, Team launched out of the gates with a stream of houses northward toward the enemy base. Within moments, they were 2/3 of the way toward blocking in CWN's cc with buildings! If they succeeded, CWN would be locked in for the rest of the match!
Ender tried his best to prevent this tactic by sitting on the open tile, but this only prompted Jizohn to yell: "TURRET HERE! TURRET HERE!" Breathtaking seconds ticked by but they could do nothing to stop it: soon, a green death machine dropped onto the last open cc tile.
Nightwish soon died and the carnage began, with turretfire mowing down the spawning CWN troops. Ender tried his best to block in the enemy factories with turrets of his own, but it was to no avail. Soon he died and was added to the meat grinder. Red stayed alive and kept yelling for mayor, but Nighty was too distraught to think clearly. It was all but inevitable.
Team Outrival drops the orb and gains a precious win. They are again to be congratulated for their superior tactics, which have catapulted them forward in the race for first place.
Cseow and Jizohn gain co-MVPs this match. I couldn't pick just one.

Clan Without Name (Barentsburg)
Legionnaires (Tallinn)
Back in the meeting room, Deceth was overjoyed at the early victory and saw it as a harbinger of things to come. Once the cities had been chosen and the combatants joined the field, everyone quickly realized that Team 1 was down a player. How would this affect the match?
The game got underway, with each team respecting the one minute grace period. Each city had approximately 15 buildings before the initial attacks began. Despite their advantage in numbers, CWN decided to 4d the two Legionnaraire attackers for far longer than they should have. This may have been their undoing. Finally, their forces began pressing the attack and as expected, they forced Team 1 into a defensive stance.
Backs against the wall, none of the Legionnaires could afford to leave. Although CWN never truly opened the city, they came very close to that critical moment where all goes straight to hell in a handbasket.
Deceth even turret rushed. Twice.
28 minutes into the match, Stig joined the beleagured Legionnaire troops. Trumpets sounded in the mist! Within seconds, their defensive ranks were bolstered and WaRlOrD raced off to attack. It was devastating. Without a defender (they were all still attacking), CWN had no chance. Greens and mines went up in a puff of smoke and it was only a matter of time before it all came crashing down.
The orb came in the 30th minute with Iggy dropping offensive greens as reinforcements.
MVP goes to Stig because he turned the tide of the battle.

Legionnaires MVP: Warlord
LgN (Kiev)
Out (Tallinn)
This was to be his only victory.
The game got underway with the new 1 minute grace. Friguy and Warlord decided to ignore this and were promptly flambaged. Within 2 minutes, lag hit the game hard and the entire team of Outrivals lagged out.
A redo was declared. Straight up hopscotch style.
The game opened again to see Warlord ignore the grace a second time. He was flambaged again.
Both teams built up full and the battle waged fiercely at both bases. There were several close calls at the Legionnaire base, the most severe of which saw their plasmas and mines drop to the might of Jizohn.
Although the fighting was intense, Jetli either got bored or was called to the dinner table, because he left without warning. Now a man down, it was only a matter of time. Team 2 succumbed to numerous strong attacks and the orb dropped 36 minutes into the game.
MVP to WARLORD for doing far too much damage for one guy.
LVP to Prince for attacking a league city and earning himself a kick.

BoC owned Ender with two meds remaining in the duel.
Ender tried to mayor using a touchpad laptop mouse. RedDxKingz drove off and did god know's what while Ender was brutalized at base alone. His "city" fell within 2 minutes.
MVP to BoC for dueling like a banshee.
LVP to CWN for sucking.

Outrival MVP: cseow
CWN MVP: none
OR (Tallinn)
CWN (Barentsburg)
The match officially began at 8:48 with a 1 minute grace period. Cseow built quickly in what was obviously a predesigned city, and had some defense up before the grace period was over, while Flash struggled somewhat in building without a design.
After a quick attack from Method, he returned to his base and grabbed some bombs and the orb. Meanwhile, Flash tried to keep building but didn't get too far. Method headed back to Barentsburg and took out greens and lasers, then ran in for the orb.
The match lasted 4 minutes with team 2 coming out on top. Cseow gets the MVP for building quickly, and mayoring efficiently.
