marchordie has been in the running for the top new player award for some time now. His solid consistent play has finally landed him the achievement this month!

marchordie has now got himself on the Monthly Top 20 three times which is a significant achievement. As of May he was ranked 14th overall in the BOMB Cup Standings which awards players points each month based on their final monthly top 20 finish.

As far as I know he is still a free agent, but don’t expect him to be for long. With the BCL coming up in the future, marchordie can be a valuable asset to any team!

Morsmorde is always in good spirits on the battlefield which makes him a fun person to play with. I fully expect him to break into the top 100 ranked players by the next rankings update!

wdouglas Spotlight February 2006

If you’ve played Battlecity at all the past couple of months, chances are you’ve seen the February newbie of the month, wdouglas!

Wdouglas just started playing in January, and by the end of February he already was a well established colonel. Known for his good demeanor and quickly growing skills, wdouglas is a great addition to the Battlecity community. Look for him on the battlefield.

Samycool Spotlight January 2006

The newbie of the month for January is…SAMYCOOL! Samy finished at #10 for the month of January, pulling in 6k points and making his presence felt. (The only other newb to even make the monthly top 20 was -Rudey-, at #20.)

Aside from doing a good job pulling in points, Samy is…well…cool. Everyone seems to really like him, which means that Samy plays fair in addition to being an awesomely skilled newb.

With the recognition Samy gained after only one month of playing Battlecity, imagine where he will be at this time next year. The sky is the limit!

Biggz Spotlight December 2005

Biggz has been surprisingly active in the community despite being relatively new to Battlecity. Even if you haven't bumped into him on the battlefield yet, there is a good chance that you’ve seen his name on the forums. He recently started a new clan called Black Sun Underworld (which is currently looking for new members if you're interested), and hopefully we’ll see them active in the next BCL season.

Biggz has also been steadily climbing in rank over the past couple of months, and is currently approaching the rank of colonel. You'll likely be noticing him more in the future, both on and off the battlefield.
