tooshortt0ny is one of Battle City’s finest new players! Not only is he a respectable member of the community who is tons of fun to play with, but he’s also extremely talented. He began playing in November 2006, and was actually a Sergeant Major with around 800 points according to the November 2006 Player Rankings. By January, he was up to Brigadier and as we speak he is a General about to reach Baron any minute!

tooshortt0ny has now been on the Monthly Top 20 for January and February! You gotta love a player who can soar up the rankings so quickly without making any enemies! Plus, we all love the sky blue tank 🙂

zapp Spotlight December 2006

Here is a player very deserving of this spotlight honor! General zapp was a Colonel in November, but has already quadrupled his total points. In December, he racked up over 10k and finished on the Monthly Top 20! From what my sources inform me, he is very fun to play with, and is a very skilled defender and mayor.

You will never hear zapp flaming his teammates or his enemies. He is an honorable player and a great new member to the Battle City community! Expect BCL clans to be offering him contracts soon! 🙂

c0rey Spotlight November 2006

c0rey will definitely give mayors of the future nightmares and tremors as they build their cities…! He’s a newer player who is already up to Brigadier. He’s an awesome defender, who is always very alert and ready to pounce on any attackers should they dare to approach while he be on guard. He always seems to have a good attitude on the battlefield which makes playing Battle City with him in your city much more enjoyable.

This BCL he also showed up ready to help teams as a free agent. He managed to get into 2 games for BO, who were definitely happy to have him!

Watch out for c0rey in 2007…!

Bullet Spotlight June 2005

This newbie is awesome! He plays BC quite a bit and has gotten to be well known by participating more than any other newbie ever has on the forums! His catch phrase, "ROFL HOUSE" can be found all over the place. Nobody knows what it means, but everyone is too afraid to ask because bullet can have quite an attitude! That’s right, if you speel his name with a capital "B" you better watch out because he will unleash upon you with a fury.

bullet also likes to spell the word spell "speel". If he’s not doing that, he’s off somewhere promoting Linux! Either way, its great to have a newbie active in the community!

Rise Against Spotlight October 2006

Rise Against has officially burst onto the Battle City scene, leaving behind him a trail of love and chaos. I can’t quite recall when exactly he begun playing, but slowly and surely he has worked his way up to being one of the games most respected players.

Although not official yet, Rise Against may in fact finish in the Top 5 Mayors, Top 5 Defenders, and Top 5 Awesome players, for 2006! There is still one month of voting to go, but as we speak, he is within grasp of finishing within each of those categories! Although not known yet for his attacking skills, he is a great defender, and is becoming a very solid mayor. He also combines this skill with his sense of fair play and honor, which is why he is so respected and fun to play with!

Rise Against also took part in his first BCL season, and demonstrated his leadership skills as he tried to guide Black Omen to victory. According to rumors, he was offered positions in other clans, but turned them down so that he could stick with his team to the end.

Hopefully he keeps playing 4ever! 🙂
