A new update has been released, version 2.2.9. This is the first update in a while meant to take the game forward.

Changes:

Even if everyone leaves an orbable city, it will no longer be destroyed

A 6 second timer has been placed on demolition

A bug was fixed where the building counts for orb points were off by 1 (orbable at 10 instead of 11).

Chat has been improved. It now has multiline support.

Font was changed to a statically spaced font, like the original BattleCity

When you join the game and press the info button, the game will now tell you who is online

A bounty system has been added. When a city orbs another city, it's point value when orbed increases by 5 points. So if a 50 point city orbs another city, then the orber's city will be worth 55 points for other people to orb. If they orb another, they will be worth 60. This is broadcasted to the entire server when they orb someone. This was added to encourage attacking stacked cities.

Right clicking buildings will now tell you how many points the city is worth

New ranks were added, including several above Lord.
