Cokesplash has made a very intriguing archeological discovery. It appears, that over the last 8 years, “erosion” has changed the shape of the Battlecity world slightly. This discovery was made possible thanks to ancient engravings of Santa Fe found on a cave wall. It is believed that a fellow by the name of “Licht” inhabited this dwelling for many years and in this time documented the design for his home in these engravings.
Upon comparing the engravings with the modern map, it became apparent that certain rocks were missing. Cokesplash theorized that the rocks must have eroded over time. After this discovery was made, many other ancient scriptures and engravings were analyzed to determine if erosion had affected more of the world. It was found that erosion of many rocks had occurred in much of the map. The shape of the world is more or less unchanged, however, some cities, such as Resistencia, appear to have benefited from such erosion. Other cities may actually have been weakened by erosion.
It is unclear whether the erosion was natural or if those rocks which have disapeared were those most involved in battles and thus shot and bombed multiple times. For example, the rock eroded in Resistencia was right beside the CC and would most likely have been victim to a substancial amount of fire power throughout the history of Battlecity…
