gangster has the Spotlight pointing in his direction for March 2007! In January, gangster joined the Monthly Champion Club after claiming the #1 spot for the first time in his BattleCity career! His #1 finish saw him edge out cseow who was looking for his third consecutive Championship! gangster took the top spot by barely 1000 points in what proved to be a very exciting race to the finish!
Back in January, gangster was a General with 43,645 points, ranking him 82nd overall. According to the March Player Rankings, he has since jumped to 56th with 67,947 points and a rank of Earl! His success on the battlefield was rewarded when he was picked up by Team Cream during the Winter 2007 BattleCity League. He played in three games, picking up one assisst before Team Cream failed to make the playoffs.
Unlike some of our previous spotlight winners who are recognized for their fair play and sportsmanship, gangster is a bit more of a train wreck looking for drama. After nearly convincing SilverEagle to quit BattleCity, he went on to inspire two more additional flame threads at his expense , including one by Nemisis and another by tissueissue.
Despite the drama, there has been good times as well. Even though he is generally quiet on the forums, he still inspired TroyFighter to say “Im guessin the women with the burger is ur mum?????“!
