A new update has been released today which now makes the Orb work against your own team. Seeing as how all other items can be used to attack both the enemy and your own team, it only made sense to also allow the Orb to be used to Orb your own city if dropped on your Command Center.
This adds a whole new level of strategy to the game and will help prevent stacked teams. Only the player who drops the orb on his/her own Command Center will receive the points. If a city is dominating, one team member will likely turn on the team and orb the base! The mayor will need to pay vey close attention to all commando's to make sure one doesn't succeed in doing this!
The update will also help prevent turret rushing because it will be very dangerous for the mayor to leave base, as a commando from within the city could easily orb the base while the maoyr is gone!
