Build a city. Hire a team. Orb the enemy.
Hey all,
I’ve been giving this heavy consideration over the past few months, but I’m still thinking about recreating this classic game in Unity. By recreating, I’m not simply going to implement what this game does and call it a day…but rather borrow the core gameplay (orbing, time-bombs or time-bomb like devices employed to destroy enemy structures, strategic base building in a persistent world with rocks/lava to build around, factories, etc) and then expand upon it tremendously with my own vision.
As work slows down for me this fall, I’ll likely find the time to create a project plan and goals. I’ve been a developer for eleven years now and I think I can accomplish this. Anyone who has similar talents, please shoot me an email at gdalemoore@gmail.com.

Just create a web service API that you can call out to that allows each instance of the game to sync up. That way it can do the pulls and pushes all at one place. =)
