Trouble with Battle City 3.5.7b? [Resolved]

Is anybody having trouble with the latest version of Battle City? I’ve gotten some reports on Facebook that it’s not working for everyone.

Any information can help! Plz post your error information so we can get this resolved ASAP! This is a tricky issue for me to fix since it’s working on my PC 🙂

@antster297, I tried installing Battle City on another computer and I received the following error:

“This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect”

I have not been able to test a fix yet, but I have done some research.

It looks like I have several versions of certain DLL files on my development machine and I distributed the wrong ones with the game.

[Potential Fix]

Get the missing DLL files by installing:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

NOTE: I don’t know if this works. I haven’t tested it yet.

For a community driven project, one person is doing an awful lot… I’m not complaining, but I think we need to appreciate our evil overlord a little more. 🙂

This problem has now been fixed! Please download v3.5.7c to get online and try out the awesome new server!

Don’t forget, you can now type /load demo if you don’t have any saved designs!
