With the new server put up by the magnificent @graves just recently, the last server was hosted last year, I’m sure a lot of us have higher end computers by now which includes new monitors.
Right now I’m running two monitors, my main being a 24inch (1920×1080) monitor and the other an LCD TV at 1440×900. (Replacing soon to another 24inch)
With this, Battlecity plays up in windowed mode. By this, I mean the map tiles are funky. If I try to place a building, it will place in somewhere different to where I placed it (Usually to the left, slightly further down). I’m not sure how do to it, but I’m keen to learn…
Is it possible to setup a native resolution option for Battlecity? Or at least a larger resolution than 1024×768.
*cries*
I found a way around the tiles being off. I just untick 1024×768. Or for some reason Battlecity was being funny. Either way I think having a larger resolution battlecity would be cool.
But, now that I think it over again – We would need higher resolution textures if we wanted the game to look nice. Which is doable. Maybe.
ok that sounds great..but i have an idea. I just got internet and was searching old games i used to play. I found battlecity and infantry. Both of these games have very low pop. I was wondering what battlecity would be like if it merged ideas with infantry…the programmers from INF could use BC game play and ideas and use thier engine to make a battlecity zone. just an idea i drumd up in my head…i think it would help both games greatly.
Holy christ, Infantry, I remember that game, wasn’t it published by Sony or something? Jees that was a good, fun game.
