I’ve tried to launch a server in the following environments:
– Ubuntu using WINE
– Windows 10
– Windows 98 – VM
– Windows XP SP3 – VM
All send an error requiring MSVCP110D.dll when trying to launch the server.
I have a VPS at a data center all setup and ready to host a server for the long haul, I just need to get this sorted out first.
Any ideas?
Battle City is a 32-bit application, so the DLL files you are missing are available from Microsoft by downloading vcredist_x86.exe. Some Battle City developers are using Visual C++ 2012, while others are using Visual C++ 2010 so try installing both packages below if you’re missing DLL files. (You do NOT need to move any files to your Battle City folder)
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 (vcredist_x86.exe)
