My internet did a naughty, and my ISP did a lazy. I did a frustration while the ones around me did a logic. I did an ignore which lead to me doing an internetless half-year.
Times were tough. But I’m back!
Just a quick question, did you ever find the right Nvidia file that was preventing the source from being compile-able?Just a little suggestion, but generally smaller games like this survive solely on pages such as ‘Top 100 games’ or the suchlike. Is Battlecity enrolled in any of these that I can boost up with the aid of a little proxy magic. ;p
@rushing – Welcome back! You’ll be pleased to know, the source code now compiles without the need for any mystical third party dependencies.
I haven’t submitted Battle City to any game sites for quite a while! If anybody is up for the task, that is definitely a great way to attract new players! Good suggestion.
I’d be happy with doing that, just a quick question though, what would you class Battlecity as? Strategy MMO?
And I’m at least 90% sure that @Deceth made a banner already, but I can’t seem to find it!
Q1 – Where can you get a Battle City Banner?
@rushing click “Battle City Screenshots” at the bottom of the screen within the toolbar.
This will load up a view of my flickr account which contains every Battle City screenshot I have had the honor to share disk space with.
Q2 – What kind of game is Battle City?
I’d say it falls into a few categories. Strategy, action, real-time, multiplayer, MMO. If you have to pick just one, it doesn’t really matter. Any is better than none 🙂
Ah yes I’ve managed to find it now, got a party over the weekend though so I won’t be doing much, but as you’ve said in the past, happy minions are productive minions.
