The next update will combine the daily bullet, the job posting window, and the meeting room into one window, and it will also contain some other surprises!
The entire 2.1.x series has been spent on fixing bugs, and the game is now more stable than ever before. Many of these include bugs that have been around forever in the game. Expect something new in 2.2.0.
-DFGs shouldn’t disappear after their time is up – fixed
-DFGs should be able to catch multiple people – fixed
-Stacked items cause mines to not disappear when they should – fixed
-Building count is off by 1 because of not counting the CC – fixed
-Log admin actions – done
-Fix accidental admin server crashing – done
-Make admins able to see sleepers – done
-Make admins able to build anywhere – done

-Make DFGs not show up unless you hit them – done
You can now enable and disable bomb activation by right clicking on them. This will only change bombs dropped by pressing ‘d’, and will not change bombs dropped by pressing ‘b’.
You can now right click on Med Kits in your inventory to heal yourself
Increased the accuracy on the server of detecting when you have shot a turret
Fixed a bug that caused 1,000,00000,0000,000 popups to come up when you click a building
Some more updates:
-Fixed an exploit caused by pressing “]” too quickly
-Fixed an exploit caused by modifying map.dat to remove lava and rocks
-Fixed a sound bug that made 10,0000k,000,000 turret noises
-Fixed items/buildings not clearing when you leave a sector
-Fixed a ‘stutter’ in the game when the FPS counter was updated
-Made it so computers that run the game consistently under 10 FPS cannot play
-Re-added the BC 1.0 frame limiting option to fix performance on some people’s computers
-Fixed a graphical freeze of players when they went on the edge of a black area
The BattleCity default graphics have been improved. To get these graphics, just grab the latest BattleCity setup file from the downloads section.

-Fixed some glitches in various graphics
Right now i’m just sitting and waiting to see if the game is ready for it’s next phase. I will not add anything new until I am sure it is stable again. Repost any bugs that you find in the CURRENT version (not that were happening before, as many of them have been fixed). Post any bugs you experience in the game in this version. It doesn’t matter how minor the bugs are, get them posted and I will fix them immediately! =D
BattleCity version 2.1.0 has been released.
Changelog:
-The building list has been rewritten. This is a first of a three part job. Item list is next.
-Tab scrolling speed has been sped up
-Inventory no longer drops in the order you picked up
-Sounds playing when the sound was disabled has been fixed
-Right clicking on a city to get the building count now works correctly no matter where their buildings are
-The ‘Not Hiring’ checkbox now clears when you change cities or leave the game.
-Fixed a slight graphical glitch that caused you to be able to see names through some parts of the panel
-If you were building when you died as mayor, you will no longer see a building still selected when you rejoin.
