As the lineup suggests this game was not a long one. The Mighty offensive forces of HDO today manifested in three dukes and an earl went straight into a four man attack as grace ended. Allthough Yoyo managed to get his city up in time he and his teammates had no chance of whitstanding the wave of horror unleeshed upon them.
After only 50 seconds of play Zhantrim had cleared 2 layers of buildings on the west side of teh base before he proceeded in and took out both walls and bazooka factories.
After the first wave WFC had no time to rebuild and the two factories were left unpopulated for almost a minute while Yoyo was trying to fight of Method northeast.
Method wins the duel against Yoyo and proceeds in. At the same time Zhantrim kills both DoubleB and Spyder on a dfg west and Yoyo has to go out and defend him. As the brave mayor Yoyo manages to kill his foe with a skillfully placed plasma and some zookfire, Method sneakes further in on his northeast path. 2:29 his last bomb explodes leaving WFC without any turrets or walls. Eight seconds later Ayana rushes in with the orb.
A quick but very hectic battle which never would have paid out good on Ladbrokes.
WFC eliminated!

This game started as a blast with Ender shooting GoWs walls after only 30 seconds of play. Unfortunetly for the bunnies he didnt carry the orb and was therefore unable to complete his mission deep inside the Gods base. As GoW started with only 3 players the bunnies quickly established a 4 man attack and was very close to brake down -Annihilators- fortress on several occasions. However they were never able to get enough defences down simultanously so the defending lords were able to replace defences pretty well as the attackers kept dieing right before they could bomb for the final opening.
As CMB was trown into the action after 15 minutes of regular play the tides shifted slowly. The godly players in Mango started to force in some scattered attack and soon the game was turned to a 3 man attack from gow and the same amount of defenders for JB. At one point BoC managed to take out mines and greens but Deceth and the rest of the bunnies did a heroic defencejob and got their city back up in time to send two attackers the last seconds of regular time.
The first overtime shocked JB from the start. Jizohn managed to take out zooks and orb in the bunnybase after only five seconds. It looked like it was gonna be a fight against the clock for JB. But one littlebunny wanted it otherwise. After halfplayed first overtime without ability to rebuild the brave bunny MuffinMan managed to suicide and take out zooks and lazers in Gows base. On the next run the bunnies blew up a lot of housing before starting to suicide for the vital factories. 20 seconds before first Ot ended -Annihilators- commonly feared fortress was reduced to consis only of the base command center. Both the teams were given 2 minutes to rebuild their dameged cities but that was not nearly enough time for -Annihilator- to perfect his building. Some entrances was not garded good enough and housing population was not manipulated as JB launched a full assault when the second OT started. After 1.30 MuffinMan again ran in from the north and started by blowing a house. At the same time the rest of the bunnies where blowing up the housing all over the base and MuffinMan came running through shooting a lot of factories taking out defences orb bombs and dfgs. The Deceth came in shooitng even more factories and the base was wide open with 3 bunnies waiting on CC for 20 seconds before the lazy halfdorment bunny ~WarlorD~ managed to show up with the orb.
GoWs base got destroyed by the power of an orb after 2 minutes and 30 seconds of second overtime.
Jizohn got awarded MVP for taking out zooks early in OT 1 and for magnificent defence during GoWs one man under period.
Deceth got MVP for JB. But noone really knows why

The stage was set for the battle of a lifetime. JB and GoW, two heavyweights in league play, were squaring off for the rubber match in what had proved thus far to be a semifinal for the gods (no pun intended). In search of their best possible talents, GoW unearthed an oldie but goodie by the name of Chris, who has been largely absent of late. JB did them one better, sifting down into the archives of Codehammer to find Wahoogie scratching at his grave.
The five minute grace period was a cacophony of mayoral construction as Annihilator and Deceth worked their landscaping magic. Both cities were up by the onset of regulation play and each side sent a duo of attackers. Nightwish and Wahoogie pressed for JB while Chris and CMB rolled for GoW. Chris and CMB lived up to their reputation and landed near the cc three separate times. Only the canny rebuilding skills of Deceth saved the day for JB. Ender specialized in dying on dfgs. Up in Harbin, Annihilator and Gr8Brian held off Wahoogie and Nightwish with little difficulty. After one minor slip-up involving the bomb factory, GoW solidly maintained their defense. Furious attacking by GoW mounted and soon all four members of Harbin were leading the charge against Mango. Several massive lag spikes (appropriately timed by Deceth according to CMB) saved the day for JB and they made it into OT.
After a brief 2-minute rebuilding period, the play was on again. Unfortunately, Deceth’s most effective defense against Chris (rebuilding 3.4 billion buildings in his way) was disallowed in OT and his walls quickly crumbled. Within minutes, the entire base at Mango was in shambles. While Deceth pleaded for more time to bleed from the clock, Chris and friends stormed in for the orb.
GoW orbs Mango 4 minutes into the first overtime and advances to the finals where they will meet HDO for the second time.

As the game started in 3rd OT after the first game was first ruined by laf then restareted and lagged to pieces again, both teams where given seven minutes to build before the third OT started.
Both mayors were quickly done building and the last minutes of grace was used to forge plans and clever trix in both camps.
GoW ran out 4 man strong and got wall and walkie research early. HDO on the other hand took their time and defended their base before going into attack mode. This seemed to be effective as Ayana as the lowest ranked in HDOs offencive line was given too much room as GoWs defenders was mostly concerned about merloch and iggy.
After five minutes of play GoW started loosing factories, among them walls. Even then under heavy pressure GoW tried to attack but was chanceless against Zhantrims defences without meds.
Chris was often pressured hard in Mango and fought heroicly to fend of the attackers but as he could not be several places at once other HDOs sneaked up behind and bombed other parts of the city.
After a heavy pressure on GoWs base Iggy orbed GoW after exactly 9 minutes in third OT. The longest game in BCLs history was finally over.
As usual Zhantrim made it boring and refused to let a single factpry be destroyed.
The finals are now 1-1 so a third game will be needed.

Both teams had 2 players when the cities were chosen. ReDxKINGz and BoC arrived just before the grace period started, and much of regulation was played 3 on 3. Because of this, neither team was able to gain a significant advantage early on.
Half way through regulation, Method joined Kuala Lumpur. His presence (and HDO's one man advantage) made an immediate impact and all of GoW was forced to defend for the rest of regulation. HDO sent 3 and 4 man attacks that often targetted houses, making GoW's factories stop producing. The attacks wore down GoW's outer defenses until HDO was able to reach factories almost every time. GoW was opened twice as they lost walls, plasmas, and bombs. With one minute left in regulation, Flash joined Harbin. He was trapped in the CC the entire time.
The rules allow players to continue attacking if they are inside the enemy city when time expires. As regulation time expired, three HDO players were inside Harbin. GoW's entire team was trapped in their own CC, between a plasma factory and mine factory. Ayana went for plasmas and died on a mine. Redx followed him and bombed the plasma factory, while Method came from the other side to bomb bombs. Both bombs went off opening the CC, but both HDO players died to turrets.
The start of Overtime was the first time the game had been 4 vs 4. The teams traded minor blows until GoW lost both weapon researches. Method repeated his attack from the end of regulation, taking out bombs and opening the GoW CC with 3 minutes left in OT. GoW scrambled to defend with turrets and mines, and survived (mostly) unarmed to force a second overtime.
Double Overtime looked like it would play out the same, as GoW called out "all defend" early on. But when BoC respawned and replied "zooks gone" they all attacked instead. The action moved to Kuala Lumpur for the first time in 20 minutes, and GoW took out mines, sleepers, and greens. When HDO lost plasmas with 5 minutes remaining, they were left with only bombs, dfgs, lasers, and walls. Their CC was blocked only by walls. Not all was lost though, because they had just managed to take out the GoW orb research. Their only hope was to kill the player with GoW's only orb.
GoW knew this risk, and spent the next two minutes trying to bomb HDO's remaining factories. But with time running out, Jizohn broke off and went for Kuala's CC. As he destroyed a wall, all four HDO players sat on top of him dropping bombs and DFGs. He got stuck, and was quickly killed by four HDO lasers. The HDO dead rejoiced, thinking they had earned a third OT.
But GoW returned in force and overran the defenseless city. With time running out, Jizohn drove straight to the CC, shot a wall, and dropped the orb. He did not have it on him in his previous attack.
Jizohn orbed Kuala Lumpur 9 minutes into the second overtime.

Grace started 15 minutes late for this game as it looked like Flash would have to face the mighty HDO alone. After hanging around the meeting room for far too long the mayors picked their city and the game started.
Flash came out hard in grace and managed to get a lead on Zhantrim, by beating him to the 6th building. But then the experienced HDO mayor turned up the pace and built a full skopje before poor single Flash had laid his first turret.
With 30 seconds to go in grace period all HDO were loaded with destructive weapons and eagerly awaiting the final annihilation of GoW. But then with only a few seconds left of grace the alltime Battlecity point-accumulator -Annihilator- joined Flash to help him defend against the visious commandos from the north.
As the game started and HDO rushed to a fullstrenght attack Flash was still laying his last defences and a lot of GoWs outter buildings were soon trembling under heavy bombardment. Bloodthirsty attackers swarmed in from all sides and when both the defending heros were killed at the same time the factories blowed up all around the city center.
As the last turretfactory and the walls disappeared the long forgotten french orber Method made his way to the parking lot just as the watch showed 1 minute and 20 seconds.

This match was reschedule once for GoW, however most of their team was not aware of the new date. The date was posted in the forums, on the BCL schedule page and in-game in the Meeting room. Although the conclusion of the series was disapointing, this first two games were the most exciting/action packed games the BCL has ever seen! One game went to triple OT, the other to double OT, with fierce battling all along! Hopefully we'll see some rematches between these teams next season!
